Taipei, Taiwan (techmessenger.com) -- GlacialTech® a world class provider of cost effective cooling components and chassis launched the latest IGLOO 5710 Silent and IGLOO 5710 PWM CPU cooler for Intel CPU’s. The unique design incorporates a specially designed heatpipe combination of three pipes that dissipate the heat from the CPU directly into the heatsink fins. From there, the fan quietly and efficiently brings the temperature down. The entire heatsink only weighs in at 485 grams (Well within Intel’s safe CPU specification of 550 grams for a CPU cooler). The Silent version has a low decibel (19dB), high volume (35.8 CFM) fan which is 92mmx92mmx25mm in dimension and runs at an ultra-quiet speed of 1600 RPM.
Unlike the Silent version, the PWM version has an adjustable speed fan which ranges in speed from 800~2600RPM, with a maximum volume throughput of 51.6CFM. The fan at full speed puts out 29 dB maximum at full revolutions.
