Taipei, Taiwan (techmessenger.com) -- The annual 2008 CeBIT will be held on March 4 ~ 9 at Hannover, Germany. Exhibiting at Hall 23 - A40, PQI will have USB flash drive, flash card, DRAM module and DOM products. Divided into three sections, the UFD display area focuses on Intelligent Stick derived products, a PQI self developed Ur-Smart personal file management software and a live overclocking module demo area for visitors to get a better understanding of PQI products.
The Intelligent Stick derived products, all made of special COB manufacturing process making them waterproof, dust-proof and revolutionary in USB flash drive design. Utilizing it’s unique interface design, derived products are fashionable in design and a breakthrough in UFD technology.
The PQI developed Ur-Smart is the ultimate personal file management software. Functions include personal interface customization, Outlook synchronization, PC-Lock, etc. Beginning in March, it will be available as a free download from the PQI website, it can use on any PQI USB flash drives for extra added value to your PQI product.
The 240-Pin DDR2-1066 4GB dual channel kit uses 8 bit prefetch design and 1066MHz operating frequencies at a low voltage of 1.92V. A benefit of having large physical system memory is that the hard drive will be accessed less frequently for paging file (hard drive used as virtual memory ~ slower than memory), resulting in a more responsive operating system. PQI’s DDR2-1066 4GB (2GBx2) dual channel module have been tested for greater stability and is the perfect solution for memory demanding operating systems, professional grade application software and the latest gaming needs. In addition, the modules have diamond cut heat-spreaders with a phoenix graphic design to keep your modules nice and cool. The 4GB dual channel kit’s got the looks and the performance to deliver.
In the flash card section, 16GB SDHC Class6 will be available to meet high resolution DSC / DSLR / DV or modern day digital handheld device needs. microSDHC Class6 4GB and 8GB can be expected later this year as well for supported devices to boost their storage capacities.
Having eyes set on external Solid State Drive (SSD) as the future of portable data storage, PQI is committed to external SSD technology research and development. Appearing at CeBIT, a 32 GB PCI-Express Combo Card with both PCI/E and PQI’s patented Intelligent Stick interface (compatible with USB 2.0); 64GB e-SATA Combo Card sports the latest e-SATA external connection technology reaching read speeds of up to 60MB/Sec. Both products can be used as external portable storage devices offering users portable storage space and performance.
The booth is designed with two spheres at the front displaying PQI USB Traveling Disk, flash memory card, DRAM module and DOM products. The sphere shape allows a 360 degree view of the products for visitors and debuting at the exhibit are new Intelligent Stick i818 and i828 & Traveling Disk i161, i178 and i231.
